Sustainable fashion, built together, city by city.

An international movement uniting the world's fashion capitals to turn proven practice into real progress, city by city, for a sustainable fashion that is desirable and within reach, to the eye and to the mind.

What

Eight fashion capitals collaborate on what already works. We turn proven practice into real, shared progress, city by city, for a sustainable fashion that is desirable and accessible, to the eye and to the mind.

Who

Cities, partners and a shared method · in hosting order

Initiated by Paris Good Fashion, facilitated by KPMG, with industry partners and Global Fashion Agenda. Eight fashion cities, each working as a full ecosystem of brands, manufacturers, suppliers, institutions, schools, researchers and NGOs.

03

Why

Because the city is where the value chain moves.

Isolated initiatives have not been enough. The city, understood as a full ecosystem of brands, manufacturers, suppliers, institutions, schools, researchers and NGOs, is the level where the whole value chain can move. Each city hosts a one-day working session, and its outputs become the inputs for the next. We are a movement driven by practice, not by communication: our measure of progress is what we produce together, not what we announce individually.

How

One method, eight cities, a structured relay
/ 01

A one-day workshop

Each host city runs a one-day working session that puts its whole ecosystem to work, the cities at work rather than another conference.

/ 02

Outputs become inputs

Every city adapts one proven practice and hands its roadmap to the next, in a structured relay. Each output is the story, and the input, of the next city.

/ 03

A shared library

Every session adds to the International Best Practices Library, built together and adopted everywhere, growing the snowball effect city by city.
